Extraction system for the Magnetic Mallet

BLEXO

Eight extractors designed for atraumatic tooth extraction through periotomy performed with MAGNETODYNAMICS, without leverage on the alveolar walls.

How it works

The tooth moves from the inside out

The Magnetic Mallet delivers a 50-microsecond impulse with reproducible force. The surgeon controls the position of the extractor; the device provides the force.

  1. Choose the profile

Select the BLEXO that fits root morphology and access: Pathfinder for narrow or deep roots, AngleFit for posterior molar surfaces.

  2. Enter the periodontal ligament space

Place the tip in the PDL space. The impulse pushes the extractor in with a progressive wedge effect, commonly at power level 1 throughout the workflow.

  3. The tooth mobilizes

The ligament space widens and the tooth mobilizes without leverage on the buccal and lingual cortical plates. The socket typically remains intact.

The eight instruments

One profile for every root and every angle

Pathfinder

Four straight extractors with different profiles, designed to enter the periodontal space according to root morphology.

BLEXO Micro tip

BLEXO Micro

Ultra-thin profile
Designed for
Fractured apices, retained roots and narrow PDL spaces.
In practice
Enters the residual periodontal space and mobilizes the fragment, often without osteotomy or a surgical flap. Also completes apex mobilization after LongRoot.
BLEXO Slim tip

BLEXO Slim

Slim and elongated
Designed for
Flat conical roots, such as incisors and premolars.
In practice
Its slim profile enters narrow periodontal spaces without bone removal.
BLEXO Arc tip

BLEXO Arc

Curved profile
Designed for
Interproximal access and the esthetic zone.
In practice
Follows the root convexity and enters interproximal spaces without contacting adjacent teeth, preserving soft tissue contours.
BLEXO LongRoot tip

BLEXO LongRoot

Extended profile
Designed for
Deep roots and palatally impacted canines (over 20 mm).
In practice
Reaches deep root profiles; BLEXO Micro then completes apex mobilization with minimal osteotomy.

AngleFit

Four angled extractors designed to reach the mesial, distal and lateral surfaces of molars in posterior sectors, each with its own angle so it does not interfere with adjacent teeth.

BLEXO AngleFit Mesial tip

AngleFit Mesial

Mesial angle
Designed for
The anterior surface of molars and mesioangulated third molars.
In practice
Paired with AngleFit Distal, reaches both surfaces of an impacted third molar while keeping osteotomy to a minimum.
BLEXO AngleFit Distal tip

AngleFit Distal

Distal angle
Designed for
The posterior surface of molars and retromolar access.
In practice
Completes the third molar workflow with AngleFit Mesial; particularly indicated for mesioangulated lower third molars.
BLEXO AngleFit RightSide tip

AngleFit RightSide

Right lateral
Designed for
Right-side molars, buccal and lingual surfaces.
In practice
After crown separation, engages each root individually, preserving alveolar bone for immediate implant placement.
BLEXO AngleFit LeftSide tip

AngleFit LeftSide

Left lateral
Designed for
Left-side molars, buccal and lingual surfaces (mirror of RightSide).
In practice
After crown separation, engages each root individually on the left side, preserving alveolar bone for immediate implant placement.

Advantages

What changes at the chair

No leverage on bone

Extractors enter the periodontal ligament space instead of levering on alveolar walls; buccal and lingual cortical plates remain intact.

Socket preservation

The alveolus typically remains intact after extraction, ready for immediate implant placement or natural healing.

Reproducible force

The impulse is delivered by the device, not by the operator's strength or fatigue, at power level 1 throughout the workflow.

Access everywhere

Eight dedicated profiles: narrow PDL spaces, deep roots, interproximal access and every posterior molar surface.

Dry, quiet field

No continuous vibration, no rotary handpiece noise and no irrigation required during extraction.

Short learning curve

The device standardizes the most variable factor, force, and the workflow stays consistent across cases.

Evidence

Published clinical data

Sample sizes range from a 22-patient pilot RCT to controlled retrospective cohorts; larger multicenter studies are ongoing.

Good to know

  • BLEXO is not a standalone device: it requires a compatible new-generation Magnetic Mallet handpiece.
  • Instruments are reprocessed according to the instructions for use.
  • It does not replace diagnosis, imaging, flap design, sectioning or clinical judgment, and it does not guarantee socket preservation in every case.
  • For dental professionals only.
